CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

January 2024

There has been substantial progress since our September 2023 update, with the interior fit-out of the apartments making steady progress throughout the lower levels of the building. New trades to the project include plasterboard liners, plumbers, electricians and mechanical fitters with the interior first fix being completed to levels one and two.

There has been substantial progress externally with the concrete structure rising to level 10. The feature precast fronting Bruce Street will soon commence, and the metalwork balustrade will follow the window installation on level four.

An exciting phase of the construction program involved the recent inspection and approval of joinery prototypes. This crucial step ensures MAB’s quality assurance processes are adhered to prior to the installation of all kitchen and bathroom joinery throughout the building.

With the highly experienced L.U. Simon Builders at the helm, utilising the same dedicated team that delivered MAB’s award-winning Escala NewQuay residential tower in 2022, we are confident in the timely completion of Tempo in the third quarter of 2024.
